Ø      480th Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Wing, 27th Intelligence Squadron, Langley AFB VA

Ø       As Tier 2 Network Manager, provides architecture management and data traffic routing for classified ISR data on the DPA Wide Area Network (WAN) and its components.  This data shall include serial sensor bit streams, non-serial imaging sensors bit streams (both stills and full motion video), and imagery (full and motion), voice, avionics bit streams, and data as received from reconnaissance platforms to various AF DCGS Sites. 

Ø       Provides support to the DPA on a 24-hours-a-day, seven (7) days-a-week.

Ø       Detects network faults and initiates troubleshooting and restoral actions for network circuits, trunks and equipment for the DPA.

Ø       Initiates and maintains trouble tickets and other logs to document these faults, subsequent corrective actions and other significant events.

Ø       Performs these activities in support of the DCGS PED Tasking Order (PTO). Activities center on the preparation and testing of circuits in support of the PTO and are synchronized with the PTO schedule. 

Ø       Meets Mission Management capabilities by provisioning bandwidth between AF DCGS sites to support the specific ISR mission objectives.

Ø       Responsible for ensuring all network devices are maintained in accordance with established security policies to maintain an effective and secure DCGS. 

Ø       Configures routers, switches, encryption devices and all associated network devices.

Ø       Developed a DPOC TSF training study guide to enhance DCGS Tier 1 and Tier 2 cyber professional development utilizing the TSF Lab

Ø       Provided first line support for all issues regarding the AF DCGS Processing Exploitation Dissemination System (PEDS) Architecture (DPA) network infrastructure enterprise customers involving circuit outages and issues.

Ø       Actively monitored DCGS network routers, switches, and encryption devices using HPOV. Responded to outages by quickly troubleshooting using GD provided training, techniques and testing procedures to evaluate and maintain an effective and secure DCGS environment.
